Is your muffler doing its job?

A properly functioning exhaust muffler is more than just keeping your ride quiet—it plays a key role in your vehicle’s overall performance and emissions system.

⚠️ When your muffler is failing, you may notice:

Loud or unusual exhaust noise
Reduced engine performance
Poor fuel efficiency
Increased emissions
Even a Check Engine Light

✅ Why it matters:
A healthy muffler helps maintain proper exhaust flow, supports emission system functionality, and keeps your engine running smoothly and efficiently.

Don’t ignore the signs—keeping your exhaust system in top shape means better performance, cleaner emissions, and a quieter ride.

Spring is here — is your vehicle road-trip ready?

Warmer weather means more weekend getaways, road trips, and outdoor adventures. Before you hit the road this spring, take a few minutes to check these 8 key vehicle checkpoints to keep your car, truck, or SUV running smoothly.

🔧 Spring Vehicle Checklist

1️⃣ Check your tires
Inspect tread depth, look for uneven wear, and adjust tire pressure for warmer temperatures.

2️⃣ Test your battery
Cold weather can weaken batteries. Make sure it’s holding a strong charge.

3️⃣ Inspect your brakes
Listen for squeaking or grinding and ensure your braking system is responsive.

4️⃣ Replace windshield wipers
Spring rain showers mean you’ll want clear visibility.

5️⃣ Top off fluids
Check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid, and transmission fluid.

6️⃣ Check your air filter
A clean air filter improves engine performance and fuel efficiency.

7️⃣ Inspect belts & hoses
Look for cracks, leaks, or signs of wear that could lead to breakdowns.

8️⃣ Test lights & signals
Make sure headlights, brake lights, and turn signals are all working properly.

🌼 Spring is road-trip season — whether you're heading to the mountains, the beach, or a weekend getaway, a quick vehicle check can help you avoid surprises on the road.

Where’s your first spring drive or road trip this year? 🌄🚙

Why choosing genuine OEM beats cheap aftermarket

Reliability you can plan on: Built to the same validation standards as the original part, so it behaves predictably across heat, cold, and load.

System compatibility: Modern cars/trucks/SUVs are networks; an off-spec sensor, pump, or module can cascade into ABS/airbag/ADAS faults.

Warranty & support: If something fails, OEM coverage plus dealer diagnostics saves time and repeat labor.

Safety & compliance: OE crash/emissions/NVH targets are met; bargain parts often skip those tests.

True cost: One premature failure (or damage to adjacent components) can erase any savings from a discount part.

Check Engine Light On? Code P0300 Explained

If your car, truck, or SUV is showing P0300, it means the engine has a random or multiple cylinder misfire. In simple terms, one or more cylinders are not firing properly, which can cause rough idling, poor acceleration, shaking, bad fuel economy, or engine damage if ignored.

Steps to help fix P0300:

Check the spark plugs
Worn, dirty, or damaged spark plugs are one of the most common causes of misfires.
Inspect ignition coils and wires
A weak coil or damaged spark plug wire can prevent proper combustion.
Look for vacuum leaks
Cracked hoses or intake leaks can throw off the air/fuel mixture.
Check the fuel system
Dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or a clogged fuel filter can cause misfires.
Inspect the air intake system
A dirty air filter or faulty mass airflow sensor can affect engine performance.
Scan for additional codes
Other trouble codes can help point to the exact cylinder or system causing the issue.
Do not ignore flashing Check Engine Light
A flashing light usually means active misfiring and possible catalytic converter damage. Stop driving and get it diagnosed.

A P0300 code can start small but become expensive fast. Fix the misfire early to protect your engine and catalytic converter.

Are your brakes ready for Spring road trips? 🚗🛑

Worn, glazed, or cracked brake pads can seriously impact your vehicle’s stopping power—and your safety. After a long Winter of harsh driving conditions, your braking system deserves a closer look.

⚠️ Common signs of failing brake pads:
• Squealing or grinding noises
• Reduced braking performance
• Vibration or pulsation when braking
• Longer stopping distances
• Visible thinning or uneven pad wear

Ignoring these warning signs can lead to more expensive repairs—and more importantly, unsafe driving conditions.

🌸 Spring is the perfect time to inspect and replace worn brake pads so you can drive with confidence. Whether it’s daily commuting or family road trips, reliable braking keeps everyone safe.

Don’t wait until it’s too late—stay ahead of the wear and stop with confidence.

🌬️ Your ECU Plays a Bigger Role in Winter Than You Think

The Engine Control Unit (ECU) manages charging system output, fuel mixture, and cold-start performance. If sensors or the ECU malfunction, your vehicle may experience:

• Rough cold starts
• Poor battery charging
• Check engine light
• Reduced fuel efficiency

Winter is no time for electrical issues. Keep your vehicle running smoothly with OEM electronic components designed for precise performance.

⚙️ Trust OEM parts for proper communication and reliability.
www.lexuspartsnow.com has the ECU you might need.

Q:
What are the step-by-step instructions for removing and installing the front and rear driveaxles on Lexus RX350?
A:
Start by removing the wheel cover and unstaking the nut. Loosen the hub nut and wheel lug nuts, then raise the vehicle and support it on jackstands. Remove the wheel and drain the transaxle lubricant. Detach the ball joint from the control arm and remove the Axle Shaft/hub nut. Free the Axle Shaft from the hub and pry the inner end from the transaxle. Remove the Axle Shaft, replace the old spring clip, and lubricate the differential seal. Reinstall the Axle Shaft, ensuring the spring clip locks in place. Grease the outer CV joint splines, reconnect the ball joint, and tighten the nuts. Install a new Axle Shaft/hub nut and check the Axle Shaft's seating. For 4WD models, follow similar steps for the rear, including removing the wheel, ABS sensor lead clamps, and parking brake cable bracket. Remove the Axle Shaft, replace the spring clip, lubricate the differential seal, and reinstall the Axle Shaft. Reconnect the control arms, install a new Axle Shaft/hub nut, and check the Axle Shaft's seating, then install the wheel and lower the vehicle.
