January 2021 I was in a not so good place in my life, I had lost my job, was just finished battling cancer and had many odds against me. I said if I made it through my struggles I’d give back to people in need. Shortly after the Bennet Cancer Foundation was formed, we got the 501 non-profit approval and did our first fundraiser. After that I landed a job with a company that had the greatest family values and it help me mentally. Later that year I landed a job that helped me financially. For 3.5 years I worked, saved and worked side jobs to make money to build a place for cancer patients to go and unwind and relax. I tried to get investors but no one was interested, or made excuses. Well as I was almost ready to give up, I had a good lunch last week and went to my office and started playing around on the computer. Six days later a purchase agreement was signed, banker approved business plan and 💥💥💥💥💥. The Bennett Cancer foundation got the Blanche funding neeed to build……. In a moth we will take possession of 160 acres to build on, already in discussions for an additional 40 acres. If you want to be a part of making a difference, changing peoples lives.
