Meet Ronald Ramsey of Acme, PA. Delivery Driver for Augustine Die & Mold, Inc. and Augustine Plastics, Inc. by day. Racecar Driver by afternoon and night. Ron has been making deliveries and doing pickups for both companies since February 2023.
Ron began racing when he was just 16. He competed at many racetracks throughout PA over the years, and then took time off when his three children were in sports and activities.
Like father, like son. In 2018, Brad Ramsey caught the bug and started racing, and Ron traveled around to watch his son master the skill that he has. And like brother, like brother. You guessed it. Ron's twin brother Bob Ramsey pictured below is also a racecar driver!
Ron has been back at the tracks driving for Ramsey Lumber throughout PA for many years now, and in August 2025, he won 1st place at Roaring K**b Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, PA! His current car is this vintage '67 Ford Mustang Fastback Body pictured below. Ron is now excited for the season. Although he races all over PA, and locally at Jennerstown Speedway Complex LLC, his hometrack is Latrobe Speedway Motorsports.
While Ron’s average speed on the racetrack is 85–90 mph, with top speeds reaching 105 mph, you can be sure that he always obeys all posted speed limits when he’s making those on-time deliveries for Augustine Die & Mold, Inc. and Augustine Plastics, Inc.!
