As we all work to do our part to stay safe, we offer special recognition for our Gardiner Fire & Security team. Every day, they put their knowledge and experience into action, helping clients protect their people, buildings and businesses, especially in fire emergencies.

We’re excited to welcome two new members to the Gardiner team!

Matthew Wagoner joins us as a Service Technician, bringing hands-on experience in electrical, HVAC and refrigeration service, along with a strong background in troubleshooting and equipment repair.

Donald Fox joins our Fire & Security team as a Fire Alarm Technician. Donald brings experience in technical support, mechanical equipment, training and team leadership, along with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.

We’re glad to have both Matthew and Donald on the team and look forward to seeing all they’ll bring to Gardiner.

What makes R-32 different?

R-32 is one of the next generation replacements for R410A in our industry. R-32 has a lower global warming potential than R-410A and offers benefits like improved heat transfer and energy efficiency. It’s also a single-component refrigerant, which makes it easier to recover and recycle than blended refrigerants.

Daikin has been a leader in developing and using R-32 technology in air conditioning systems for years – and our team at Gardiner has already been putting the technology to work. Through a variety of recent projects, including the installation of three Daikin R-32 VRV systems totaling 60 tons at a local school district, we are already moving buildings forward and making buildings more efficient.

It was a great few days in Pittsburgh for the Clockworks Client Summit!

Gardiner’s own Michael Mandilakis, Director of Data Services, had the opportunity to participate, join conversations and speak alongside Clockworks clients and partners from across the industry.

The Summit was also a great opportunity to recognize the work happening across our team. Gardiner was honored as the 2026 Partner of the Year and earned a Silver Level Partner Certification, along with awards for Most Savings Achieved and Most Tasks Completed. Amariyah Yisrael and Michael Pishnery also earned Specialist Certifications, while Michael Mandilakis earned his Sales Certification.

From sharing how going beyond the scope of a contract can strengthen client relationships to exploring better ways to manage building analytics across multiple sites, there was plenty to learn, share and bring back to our team and clients.

Thanks to Clockworks for bringing everyone together. We’re proud of the work our team continues to do and grateful for the opportunity to keep learning alongside our partners.

What a night at NorthCoast 99!

NorthCoast 99 recognizes Northeast Ohio organizations that excel at attracting and retaining top talent. We were honored to once again be named a NorthCoast 99 winner—and especially proud to receive the special award for Employee Engagement & Talent Development.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing Gardiner’s own Kim Joshaway share her story from the stage. Kim reflected on the Gardiner people who believed in her and helped her grow, and the responsibility we share to create that experience for others by ensuring our associates feel connected, valued and heard—and know that what they do matters.

Her words were a fitting reflection of what employee engagement and talent development mean at Gardiner: listening to people, creating opportunities and building a workplace where people can grow.

Great conversations, great topics, and a great day with the healthcare facilities community at NOSHE!

Gardiner was proud to present alongside Charlie Wilson from Mainstream on “Modular Fan Array Retrofits: Eliminating Single Point Failure in Critical Healthcare HVAC Systems.”

From the educational sessions to the vendor exhibits and conversations throughout the day, it was a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and talk about solutions that help healthcare facilities build greater reliability and resiliency into their HVAC systems.
