The Town of Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department held the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the All Inclusive Freedom Park located within Lee Victory Park. We are proud to have provided the civil site design for the playground and new parking lot.

The widening and paving of Twin Creeks Marina Way in Wi******er, TN is nearing completion. The roadway base stone is installed and paving will be starting soon.

Dempsey, Dilling & Associates, an Affiliate of Thomas and Hutton performed design and construction engineering inspection/administration services for the roadway. The project is being funded with a Eastern Federal Land Access Grant from Federal Highway Administration.

Smyrna’s Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion is making great progress, thanks to Judy Construction. The anaerobic basin is almost complete, oxidation basin taking shape and clarifier base slabs are being prepared for the concrete pour.

The Town of Smyrna had the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony yesterday for Cedar Stone Park. They honored the past Park Commissioners by naming the four ballfields after each of them (H.G. Cole, Frank Crosslin Jr., Kenneth "C**n" Victory, and Ginny Williams).

DDA is very honored to have been a part of this addition to the Town's Parks and Recreation Department. We hope this project serves the community for many years.

Engineers do get to work on cool stuff. Currently assisting the Rutherford County/Smyrna Airport Authority in designing a maintenance hangar. Cory Hall of our office utilized software from our parent company, Thomas and Hutton, to develop a video of the Boeing 737-800 turning radius, tracking from the apron into the proposed hangar.
