MBW, Inc.

MBW, Inc. MBW is a USA manufacturer of the
industry's most innovative compaction & concrete equipment.

MBW is not a copyist - we do not duplicate designs developed by others. MBW begins each new engineering project with the assumption that significant progress can be made in terms of improved productivity, reduced maintenance, longer life, enhanced user safety and lower long-term cost of ownership. Often, MBW’s R&D efforts result in entirely fresh approaches to solving industry problems. Many of o

ur products have pushed the productivity envelope to new heights. Some MBW products afford their operators the industry’s safest tools in a given product class. Most MBW products solve long standing maintenance issues and extend productlife expectations. Our goal is to provide equipment users with products of significant, tangible and comparative value.

This Labor Day we recognize the people who keep our industry moving.

From the crews who pour, compact and finish to the people who manufacture, maintain, sell and support the equipment they rely on, skilled work builds the communities around us.

We’re especially grateful for the MBW team in Slinger, Wisconsin, whose craftsmanship, commitment and quality stand behind our equipment every day.

Thank you to everyone who puts in the work. Have a safe and well-earned Labor Day!

American Owned. Wisconsin Operated.

More than six years of research and development went into an R60 designed around three priorities: More Control. Less Fatigue. Easy Service.

Its balanced design provides greater control and stability with low hand-arm vibration. UHMW polyethylene slide bearings replace traditional metal-on-metal reciprocating wear surfaces, helping reduce friction, heat and internal wear while making repairs simpler.

A combined fuel and engine shutoff helps reduce the risk of flooding and oil contamination during transport.

Powered by the Honda GXR120, the 144 lb R60 delivers 3,200 lbf of compaction force at up to 720 blows per minute through an 11 x 13 in ductile cast iron shoe.

Its four-ply, steel-reinforced bellows and percussion-system slide bearings are covered by a five-year limited warranty.

Built to hit hard. Built to stay working.

Centrifugal force alone is not a measure of compaction performance.

Frequency, amplitude, mass and the way those elements work together all matter. The GP2000 combines a 165-lb. operating weight with .083-in. amplitude and is designed for compacting granular soils and gravel.

When you compare plate compactors, which spec do you check first?

Twenty-two seconds goes by fast. The crew made this pour look smooth with a little help from the MBW SCREEDEMON.

Engines get most of the attention, but a plate compactor is only as tough as the part hitting the ground.

The GP2000 uses a stress-relieved steel base plate designed for crack resistance and long wear. Every pass depends on it transferring vibration into the material while holding up to the abuse of the jobsite.

What matters most to you in a plate compactor: compaction performance, durability or serviceability?

There’s a lot happening underneath a plate compactor.

At the heart of the MBW GP2000 is a heavy-duty aluminum exciter housing designed to dissipate heat and withstand demanding vibratory applications. Oversized, application-matched bearings and an oil-mist lubrication system help maintain performance and minimize downtime.

Most operators will never see the exciter, but it produces the vibration that keeps the plate working.

Built heavy duty where it counts.
