A manufacturer came to Groschopp looking for a more durable motor for its commercial floor scrubber after experiencing shaft problems and motors failing too soon.

Some challenges included:
- Motor overheating due to inefficient controls
- Improving shaft durability and motor life
- Fitting the motor into the existing gearbox design
- Exposure to hot water, dirt, detergents, and chemicals

Agriculture has always been a part of who we are.

It all started on a farm in northwest Iowa, where a family built a wind charger to charge the battery used to power their farm radio. As the company grew, it expanded into motors and farm generators in the 1950s.
