Two weeks ago we highlighted the York County Solid Waste & Refuse Authority waste-to-energy facility and how burnable waste is responsibly processed. ♻️🔥
Last week we talked about the Republic Landfill and how certain non-burnable materials like construction debris, roofing, concrete, and demolition waste require a different disposal process.
This week, we wanted to highlight another important part of responsible junk removal — local metal recycling facilities like Penn Mar Recycle Company. 🔩♻️
Many of the appliances, scrap metal items, metal furniture, exercise equipment, and other metal materials we remove can be properly recycled instead of ending up in the landfill. By utilizing local recycling facilities whenever possible, we help reduce waste and make sure recyclable materials are handled the right way.
