Perma Tronic’s Elevator Inspector Helper will be responsible for assisting with the inspection of elevators.

You will be working with our lead inspectors and mechanics learning all about industrial, commercial, and residential elevators.

Basic mechanical and/or electrical skills with problem-solving capabilities are required.

Must be able to carry 50-pound weights fifty feet.
Must be able to climb a ladder 200 feet and not be afraid of heights.
A love for traveling is a plus.

You will work ≈ 40 weeks of the year out of town, with the convenience of being home on weekends.

You will be eligible for benefits, including retirement plan, vacation pay, health, dental, vision, and life insurance after a 90-day probationary period.

You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, safety harnesses, gloves, and steel-toe boots. You must also be able to wear a respirator as needed. All PPE will be provided by Perma Tronic with the exception of steel-toe boots.

Drug testing, a valid driver's license, and a criminal background check are required.

Must be on time and reliable.

Preference will be given to veterans.

Are you an experienced accounting professional who would love a part-time, and flexible position? Would you enjoy using your bookkeeping expertise to help small businesses thrive? Currently, this is a part-time position that as the company grows will work into a full-time position.

We specialize in industrial, commercial, and home elevators.

• You will help with accounts payable data entry.
• Follow up on parts ordered for jobs.
• Complete reports and certificates to customers.
• Assisting in the new client onboarding process.
• Executing, as applicable, processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. management, bookkeeping entries.
• Help to manage the day-to-day relationships with clients.


The qualified candidate must have the following experience and attributes:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to provide detailed level bookkeeping support - accounts payable, accounts receivable.
• 1+ years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks for/in a professional organization.
• Capacity to work 20-30 hours a week during daytime business hours.
• A passion for and sense of personal satisfaction in delighting clients and helping small businesses succeed.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures.
• Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data.
