⚾️ Your favorite team scoring? Awesome. Your hydraulic cylinders scoring? Less so. This pair of cylinders had scoring in the barrels that couldn't be honed, so we machined new ones to match with an inner and outer bevel to work with the existing glands. After some time on the welding table they are ready to reassemble and head back to work!

We're stacking 350s up deep this 5/7 day! The trusty small block chevy started out life in the 1950s as a 265 cubic inch engine. Eventually GM found the sweet spot at 350 cubic inches, or 5.7 liters. We recently had 3 in the shop back to back getting ready to hit the road.

🌮🌶️ If you put on a little too much sauce this , we've got you covered. This LS cylinder head had burn through into the gasket surface that needed repair. Step 1: clean out the bad spot. Step 2: TIG it back in. Step 3: Clean up grind. Step 4: Finish machine in our high speed mill. This one's ready for action again!

Nash Metropolitan? We work on those! The Metro was one of the original compact cars, and this 1,500cc 4-cylidner was the heart of it. Horsepower ratings ranged from 42 up to 55 during its 8-year production run, but for a car weighing in at under 2,000lbs it still provided a "sporty" driving experience for the time.

This one is destined for a complete restoration, and received full machine work to better than new specs.

Big cylinders need big torque, and we've got just the tool for the job. With over 30,000 lb/ft of torque on tap, we'll get it loose one way or another 💪 This one broke free with no drama, and we were able to spin it off by hand. After a thorough cleaning and new premium seals, it will be ready for reassembly and back to work.

A cylinder head 'Valve Job' is a multi-part process that ensures optimum sealing and performance of the valves. A critical part of the process is a multi-angle cut on the seat that the valve seals against, along with machining the valves themselves to ensure both surfaces are perfectly round. When completed, a freshly machined provides more power and more efficiency than before, and we keep an older engine on the road and out of the junkyard.
