Introducing our judge for this year's beef and sheep show, Jacob Klaudt.
Jacob serves as the Merle Light Livestock Evaluation Coach and a lecturer at North Dakota State University, where he is also working toward his master's degree in beef cattle reproduction. He was part of national champion livestock judging and meat animal evaluation teams at Kansas State University, earning high individual honors in Louisville along the way. He earned his All-American recognition as a Junior College Livestock Judge out of Casper College, and was selected as an inaugural member of the Top Judge Mentorship Program. Jacob grew up around Simmental and Angus cattle in Beulah, North Dakota and has sorted shows across 12 states. His knowledge runs deep, and we know he will bring a great eye and genuine passion to the ring.
