FullTime Counter Professional

Arnold Motor Supply and its sister company, The Merrill Company, divisions of The Arnold Group of Companies, started in Spencer, Iowa, in 1927. Today we’re one of the largest partnerships in the United States with stores in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois, and Missouri. The Arnold Group includes 44 Arnold Motor Supply automotive parts stores, 13 Auto Value Parts Stores as well as two warehouses, an auto refinish division, a light industrial coatings distributor, and a related equipment division. Twenty locations have complete machine shops located within the stores.

The Counter Professional is our front-line service pro inside of our stores and focuses on providing the best solutions for our customers’ automotive parts needs.

Qualifications
-Must be passionate about understanding and meeting the needs of our customers!
-Significant knowledge of automotive parts and industry experience is strongly preferred
-High school diploma or equivalent
-A commitment to being a strong team member
-A “get-it-done” attitude!
-Strong communication skills and a love of engaging with people!
-Ability to work flexible retail hours (schedules are often 7:30-5:30) including alternating Saturdays
Physical/Other Requirements

-Lifting of a minimum of 50 pounds.
-Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking and sitting.
-Basic computer proficiency; ability to utilize telephone
