Fabrication automation has reached a familiar bottleneck. Cutting speeds continue to increase, bending systems are faster than ever, and many facilities are capable of lights-out production.

Yet overall through-put is still determined by one critical factor: how efficiently material moves between processes. When material flow slows, production slows, regardless of how advanced the equipment may be.
