From concept to reality, building this chassis has been an amazing experience. We hurried to get some laps on the car and prove some concept designs. We built a pair of RF lower control arms today for our Late Model Chassis. Coming from the modified world, you get what you get when it comes to lower control arms. In the Late Model world, the options are endless! On this piece, the control arm features a bend which allows us to lower the shock mount 5/8". Wish you had a little more shock clearance before you're in the bump? Within reason of course, this certainly is an option. The strut arm features a double adjuster which allows the arm to be rolled slightly forward or back. This elimnates the need to unbolt the strut arm, turn the heim, then reinstall hoping it's correct. Can't find a set for your car? Looking for something custom? Converting a 4 link car to 2 link isn't always the easiest thing to do. On top of that, when these 4 bar weld in style plates get bent there is no way to replace them. We designed a new setup for the RR of this Sport Mod, got the drawing approved, then installed the bolt in plates seen below. These plates are designed for a 16" bar on the center slots, then allow the wheelbase to be adjusted either forward or back.

On this Shaw Chassis we updated the standard heim joint upper control arm to a new cross shaft upper control arm featuring interchangeable Anti-Dive keys. This benefits you in a few ways... One, going to a cross shaft arm provides options when it comes to control arm length (camber gain). Two, camber is easily adjusted by adding shims between the mount and arm. Three, changing Anti-Dive keys in the RF has been one of the most effective changes I've found when it comes to changing track conditions. We have openings this winter to get you setup for 2023!
