The Subframe is usually 10 inches shorter then the actual bed length

. For Example, a 16ft Body has a 15ft and 2 inch Subframe. When checking what dump body length you need, check the length of the truck's frame from cab to the end. For example, on a truck with a 15ft & 8 inches frame length from cab to end of frame, a 16ft bed will fit on your Truck and leave a 6 inch gap between Body and cab.
