This week I was sworn in, to serve my third term as a Sevier County commissioner. It is hard to believe that 8 years has already came and gone. I humbly want to thank everybody who has believed in me and supported me through this journey.
I especially I want to thank my beautiful wife and children. Thank you for understanding that the five minute grocery trip, turned into 25 mins because I spoke to several different people that had questions or concerns. Thank you for the times at dinner that I’ve had to step out because something is pressing in our community and needs attention. I could go on and on but simply thank you for sharing me with the public and allowing me to serve.
Over the years I have learned that progress does not happen because of one person. It happens because people are willing to come together, set their differences aside, and work towards a common goal. I am proud of what we have accomplished, but I am most excited to see what we can accomplish together in the future.
Thank you once more for believing in me and allowing me to serve. I asked that you pray for all of our elected officials. Pray that God gives us courage to lead, knowledge to make the best decisions possible, and grants us discernment so that we are not misled in our decision-making. God bless you, your families, and this great place that we get to call our home.
 Sincerely,
Commissioner Aaron Foster
