Piper's Mill Mobile sawmilling service for the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas as well as custom lumber orders. Mobile sawmilling service, we come to you!

Serving the greater Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas. 4-hr minimum for Kitsap areas. $100/hr for mill and operator. No additional setup or travel fees, within service area. $35 blade charge if blade hits embedded metal/foreign object. Log parameters : 10"-32” diameter and max length of 20’. Maximum slab width is 20" smooth, or up to 24" live. Logs must be decked (stacked) with vehicle access for the

mill to be pulled up to. Logs should be cut to desired lumber length+6” and decked in-line to be rolled onto the mill. For production efficiency, boards are generally simple-stacked on the milling site and customer later sticker stacks them for proper drying. Please indicate if you want stickers (spacers) cut.

We began our mobile operation with the goal of helping those in our local communities to get the best value from small-scale harvested/salvaged timber resources from their own land. Sometimes that means milling a few storm-fallen logs in a driveway. Sometimes it is getting the honor to spend a week milling premium grade Douglas-fir on a generational family farm and timber lot. This should provide the family with enough lumber for a few years, but we hope to be back as often as possible, they were a pleasure to work with.

This Douglas-fir has me thinking about grilled salmon. Anyone else?
