Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced a day of unimaginable loss—one that forever changed our country and the lives of countless Americans.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, military members, and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger, helped strangers, and answered an extraordinary moment with courage and selflessness.
For those of us whose work is rooted in preparedness, response, and protecting others, their example carries particular meaning. September 11 reminds us not only of what was lost, but of the profound difference made by people who are willing to step forward when others need them most.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives. We remember the courage. We remember the unity.

We will never forget.

As the fireworks fade and the holiday weekend continues, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what Independence Day represents: freedom, responsibility, community, and the willingness to look out for one another.

Over the last 250 years, the tools and training used to protect lives have changed dramatically. What began with basic battlefield medicine has evolved into modern trauma care, protective equipment, emergency response systems, and training that empowers people to take action before help arrives.

That evolution matters because emergencies do not wait and the first few minutes can make all the difference.

At Con10gency, we’re honored to play a small part in helping communities, organizations, and responders be ready when it matters most.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of the United States of America.

For two and a half centuries, this country has been shaped by courage, sacrifice, service, innovation, and an enduring belief in something bigger than ourselves. From those who first fought for independence to those who continue to serve and protect our communities today, America’s story has always been carried forward by people willing to step up when it matters most.

At Con10gency, we are especially grateful for the first responders, military members, medical professionals, educators, public servants, and everyday citizens who help keep our communities strong, safe, and resilient.

As we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, may we do so with gratitude for the past, pride in the present, and a renewed commitment to caring for one another in the future.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at Con10gency!

As we head into Independence Day weekend, we’re reminded that preparedness has always been part of the American story.

For 250 years, each generation has learned, adapted, and improved the way we protect one another — from early battlefield care and evacuation systems to modern PPE, trauma kits, and point-of-injury training.

At Con10gency, we’re proud to continue that mission by helping first responders, organizations, schools, businesses, and communities prepare for the moments that matter most.

This weekend, we honor the history, service, sacrifice, and resilience that built this country and the people who continue to protect it.
