Is your respirator NIOSH tested and approved? The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has issued a warning noting the dangers about counterfeit or "misrepresented" respirators that might not provide adequate protection. This includes everything from tactical respirators to N95 masks.

Something happens. This is not the time to guess.

Step one: Exit if you can. Know your doors before you need them.
Step two: If you cannot exit, go to SIM.
• Safety: Protect yourself and the people with you.
• Immediate Action Plan: Decide right now. Move, hide, or act.
• Medical: Be ready to treat the injured.

Denial is not an option. You cannot say “it’s nothing” and hope it passes.
Preparedness means training your brain to follow the order every time: Exit if you can. If not, SIM.
