Putting the right tools to work in the orchard. 🌳
This almond orchard has been dealing with poor water pe*******on, so they’re taking a targeted approach to improving the soil profile.
They started with a variable rate application of gypsum based on the areas needing attention. Next, they’ll follow up with the Mid Row Ripper to break through restrictive layers and improve water movement and root zone conditions.
Once the ripping is complete, they’ll finish with a variable rate application of Tiger 90.
Different soil conditions require different solutions. Using variable rate applications along with the right tillage tool can help put inputs where they’re needed and make every acre work harder.
