Muncie Sailing Club Muncie Sailing Club is located on Prairie Creek Reservoir about 15 minutes southeast of Muncie, IN, The MSC clubhouse is a center of social activity.

Muncie Sailing Club is located on Prairie Creek Reservoir about 15 minutes southeast of Muncie, IN, home of Ball State University, and about 45 minutes northeast of Indianapolis. The Club provides comfortable facilities and excellent sailing with great wind conditions. The reservoir is bordered by multi-use parkland and extensive wooded shoreline with beautiful sunsets from the deck. The clubhouse

includes a kitchen, dining area, screened porch, lockers, rest rooms with showers, battery charging equipment, and a dryer. The dock area includes a launching ramp and over 70 in-water slips. picnic shelter

Spacious Grounds — The grounds include picnic areas, grills, and a shelter with tables. Facilities for Day Sailors —The dock area also includes a hoist for launching and retrieving day sailers and space for over 60 dry-sail boats

Social and Racing Events — Sailing, social, and racing events begin with the Spring Banquet and continue through early fall. These include racing events, sailing in concert, the Steak Grill, Harbor Dance, Memorial Day Breakfast, Raft-Up and Fourth of July Hamburger/Hot Dog Grill. Social events are scheduled approximately once a month during the sailing season. Come and join the fun! Relax and enjoy the power of the wind in your sail.
