Michael T. Thomas, P.E. has been named vice president at Meck-Tech, Inc. Mike is a 2007 graduate of Shikellamy High School, and a 2011 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering. Upon graduating, he accepted a position as an engineer-in-training with G*I Consultants, Pittsburgh, and obtained his professional engineer license in 2016 while working there. At G*I, his work experience included completing civil engineering site designs and environmental permits for the oil and gas industry throughout PA, NY, WV, and OH. Mike transitioned from G*I to work for Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc., in Cranberry Township, Butler County, PA as a land development project engineer for about a year before moving back to the Susquehanna Valley in 2018. Since 2018, Mike has been a project manager and the chief civil engineer for Meck-Tech. His work includes managing land development projects and providing municipal engineering services for numerous municipalities and municipal planning commissions throughout the Susquehanna Valley.
Mike and his wife Shelby live in Sunbury with their two children. Mike enjoys being active, completing DIY projects around his house, and enjoying time spent with friends and family.
Meck-Tech, Inc. is a professional engineering and land surveying company located on US Routes 11 & 15 near Selinsgrove, PA. Provided services include subdivision and land development design, civil engineering consulting services, municipal engineering, and land surveying.
