Those who spoke to Mike in recent years know how excited he was to get his '29 Chrysler on the road. Not many people have hot rodded these cars but of course, Mike wanted to. With Mike no longer with us, I felt like seeing this car was a sign from him. Very cool!

God called dad home today. Mom and dad were married almost 59 years. They were neighbors and have known each other for 75 years. Dad loved cars, eating, racing, Gonzaga basketball, eating, Seahawks, Mariners, R&Q, eating, dancing, barbershop singing, drinking beer, telling stories, eating, betting on horse racing, shuffleboard, Packwood, eating, reading, talking, western art, horseshoes, and eating. Most of all he loved his wife, my mom Nancy. Please keep our family & especially my mom in your prayers. It is not a good time to die...we cannot comfort each other or even have a funeral to make it real. It’s weird and definitely not normal so please pray we can honor my dad soon. Have a blessed Easter!

Sometimes it is so hard to find the right words... saying goodbye even harder...
Our hearts ache tonight as we mourn the loss of this fine gentleman 💔 Mike made such an impact on this world and will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him ❤️ I feel so honored and blessed to have been one of those people and I know there are MANY who feel the same ❤️
