It was a pleasure doing the metal on this project. Between the GC and I, we had to come up with a practical structural design to meet the asthetic set by the architect. Everything was burned out and constructed in shop. It was then later given a finish and lifted into place by the GC. The beam measures 30"x12" at 24' long. It weighs +/- 1,500 pounds.

Welding was slow in the past two months so this small renovation filled the gaps between metal projects. The pantry and walk in closet were swapped. The shelves were all custom built to better utilize the space. By swapping the spaces them self made better use of the square footage of this house.
