Hello Everyone,

Our last meeting until the fall will be on Thursday May 8th at 6 pm at Everett Community College. Matt Walker of ESAB will be presenting on Oxy-fuel Safety and Advancements in Cutting Technology.

The Puget Sound Olympic section will be providing pizza and drinks. Please bring your technical questions!

Our upcoming March 13th Dinner meeting will be a great one featuring local member, Elaine Thomas. She will be giving a presentation on basic steel metallurgy and the importance of the Fe-C diagram.

Happy New Year, Puget Sound Olympic AWS members!

We will not be having an event in January, but the following is a preview of upcoming meetings/events.

February 8th — tour of Razor Welding in Kent, WA (maker of TIG welding machines.

March 14th — Joint AWS & ASNT meeting at SeaTac Courtyard Marriott in Tukwila, WA

April 11th — Oxyfuel safety and cutting/beveling applications with Matthew Walker of Victor-ESAB, location to be determined.
