Here at Cascade Machinery & Electric, our shop floor is constantly filled with heavy-duty industrial equipment, so we decided it's time to start showing it off. To kick things off, check out this absolute beast of a vertical motor in the attached photo.

Our talented crew just wrapped up a complete rebuild on this massive unit. It’s got a fresh coat of paint, it's fully restored, and it's ready to head back out into the field to do some heavy lifting.

🌲 Beware the PNW "Summer Snow"! ❄️

It might look magical floating through the air, but for your industrial equipment, cottonwood fluff is a nightmare waiting to happen! 😱

Take a look at the air intakes in this photo. That fluffy blanket is actually acting as an insulator, suffocating the airflow to the air compressors. When your machine can't breathe, the motors work in overdrive. This quickly leads to:

Even dinosaur wranglers need a change of pace sometimes! 🦖🦕🐝

If you ever visited the animatronic Dinosaur exhibit at Woodland Park Zoo, you were actually looking at the handiwork of this Quincy QGS-20 air compressor! It worked hard behind the scenes to provide the compressed air that brought all those roars and stomps.

Now, this reliable workhorse is starting a brand new chapter. Our team at Cascade Machinery & Electric just relocated this unit to the zoo’s main support shop, where it will provide the essential air power needed for their daily maintenance and operations.

It went from making dinosaurs move to helping the crew keep the whole zoo running smoothly! We love seeing quality machinery get a second life. A big thanks to Woodland Park Zoo for trusting us with the move, and to Quincy Compressor for building equipment that lasts. 🛠️🔧

At Cascade Machinery and Electric, Inc., it is hard to explain all the different things we can do, but here is a powerful example of what we just did for a customer down in Oregon. 👇

They were managing a critical, deep pump station excavation, and failure was not an option. Working in tough, wet conditions, they needed equipment they could count on implicitly. We provided a rugged Vogelsang pump for the critical dewatering.
