20,521 meals. One incredible team effort! 💙

In recognition of World Food Day 2026, employees from onsemi’s San Jose office joined forces with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley to help fight hunger in their local community.

Through their volunteer efforts, our team helped provide the equivalent of approximately 20,521 meals to individuals and families across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties!

Second Harvest works year-round to ensure people facing food insecurity have access to nutritious food and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support that important mission. A big thank you to our San Jose employees for giving their time and making a difference and to the Second Harvest team for the incredible work they do for our communities every day! 👏

Seeing clearly on the road gets harder when lighting changes fast, even for autonomous driving systems. Image sensors need to preserve critical detail across bright and dark areas so perception systems can accurately interpret the scene. That’s no easy task. 👁️🚘

At AutoSens Europe 2026, Bahman Hadji, director of product marketing for onsemi’s Intelligent Sensing Group, discussed how our image sensor technology is helping address those challenges.

Our latest-generation automotive image sensors offer up to 130 dB of dynamic range at 60 frames per second, helping perception systems capture critical detail across bright sunlight, dark tunnels and other high-contrast driving environments. That additional detail gives perception systems better information to understand the road and support higher levels of driving automation.

Giving back took center stage for our Munich team this World Food Day. 💙

Employees volunteered with the Caritas Food Distribution Center in Ottobrunn, helping prepare the distribution area, sort and hand out donated food, collect donations from local stores and support clean-up at the end of the day. It was a hands-on effort that helped get food where it was needed most and gave our team the chance to support the local community in a meaningful way.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, and to the Caritas team for the important work they do every day.

onsemi is excited to announce that Sungrow, a global leader in renewable energy technology, has adopted onsemi’s latest EliteSiC silicon carbide (SiC) hybrid power module technology for the Sungrow PowerTitan 3.0 energy storage platform.

The integration enables improved efficiency and enhanced system performance for utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Compared with the previous-generation platform, the new architecture improves inverter-level efficiency by 0.4%, supports power conversion units up to 450 kW and helps enable higher-power deployments while maintaining efficiency.

“At utility scale, even small improvements in power conversion efficiency can have a meaningful impact on battery energy storage system performance and total cost of ownership,” said Sergio Fissore, vice president and general manager of the IPD Power Division at onsemi. “Our EliteSiC hybrid power module enables higher-efficiency, higher-density energy storage systems that help maximize usable energy and improve system reliability.”

According to onsemi analysis, a 0.4% efficiency improvement could save more than 475 MWh of energy annually in a 100 MW battery energy storage installation compared with the previous-generation module. That means more stored energy can be delivered where it’s needed while helping reduce operating costs and losses at scale.
