Sometimes the smallest structures create the biggest smiles. 😊

During National Volunteer Month, 53 onsemi volunteers from our San Jose site teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to build five playhouses for military families and a local daycare center.

These playhouses are more than wood and nails. They're spaces for creativity, imagination and childhood memories that will last for years to come.

But behind this fun game is a powerful demo of intelligent edge sensing over 10BASE-T1S.

Using onsemi’s Remote Control Protocol (RCP), our MCU-less sound localization system synchronizes distributed microphone nodes with ~20 nanoseconds precision, enabling audio source tracking with ultra-low latency.
