JOB OPPORTUNITY - ASSEMBLY OPERATOR, GA***RD MI

NAI is accepting applications from qualified candidates for Assembly Operators. This onsite position will complete the work orders that are assigned and authorized by the Production Leader based on the procedures of the assembly work instructions and the Quality Management System. The chosen applicant will also fabricate pieces through machines and tools fulfilling the customer and internal quality requirements by performing the specific duties outlined in the job description. One to three years of industry experience is required, preferably in manufacturing.

As part of NAI’s Community Service Day employees around the globe organized to participate in local community service projects.

Here’s a quick look at how NAI employees in China participated in Community Service Day.

Suzhou, China - Many volunteers from the NAI Suzhou location worked in a public park to collect rubbish and debris in environment-friendly trash bags. Team members were provided an app called “Litterati – Cleaning the Earth” to upload photos of their collected waste for the Environmental Protection Administration to examine and analyze waste components.

NAI encourages all of its global employees to get involved in their local community as social responsibility is a key part of NAI’s strategic architecture.

Here’s a look at some of the other events as part of NAI’s Community Service Day.

In October, employees of NAI from various locations in Mexico participated in NAI Community Service Day within their respective communities.

Saltillo, Mexico - NAI employees at the Saltillo location volunteered to repair faulty electrical service, including fixing lighting issues at the elderly shelter home “Asilo El Buen Samaritano.” Volunteers also collected and donated various supplies to the home, such as lactose-free milk, canned goods, and detergent.

Hermosillo, Mexico - A large team of employees from the NAI plants in Hermosillo volunteered to help with gardening, painting, and cleaning one of the shelter housing facilities for children and adolescents who are abandoned, mistreated, or victims of domestic violence or sexual abuse. The preparation of this facility allowed the organization to accept 5 to 7 additional children in their community.

NAI believes that all global businesses should behave with social responsibility. As part of our strategic architecture, NAI has embraced this idea and encourages our employees to do their part in their local communities.

NAI Serves Local Communities Across the Globe on the Company's Community Service Day

This October NAI employees organized and deployed around the globe to provide a Community Service Day in their respective local communities. Here’s a look at the community service events in the United States.

Ga***rd, MI - A volunteer team of NAI employees collected and removed debris and garbage from high-traffic areas in the community and helped with the fall clean-up of tennis courts and trails at Ga***rd’s Elk Park and Aspen Park.

Nogales, AZ - Volunteer NAI employees organized, stocked, and distributed food for a local community food bank.

Troy, MI - A team of volunteers from NAI visited the Stage Nature Center to help with groundskeeping, and cleaning up and removing debris before winter.

Scottsdale, AZ - NAI volunteers spent time at their local Vista del Camino Food Bank to assist in stocking, organizing, and distributing food.

At NAI we're happy to help support student career education.

Recently, 18 middle and high school students from Suzhou, China visited NAI’s
plants to study and conduct research on the manufacturing process. NAI
employees who act as Community Service volunteers, prepared in advance for
this educational visit. They gave the students a tour of the plant, introduced
them to the NAI enterprise culture, provided a history of the company, its
growth, and its production process.

After the tour, the volunteers taught the students about Lean Manufacturing, including the 5S and VSM, through the use of games. The students were given valuable career insights that they would otherwise not receive in school.
