I spent about an hour this morning arguing with the Paypal AI.

I lost!!! The AI could not understand what I was talking about.

I have been using Paypal for 25 years with only a few issues.

Yesterday they forced me to use their new shipping center. It is not compatible with my label printer that I have been using for at least 20 years.

If anyone else is having problems with the new shipping center here are the contacts that I have used:

If you try to use Paypal's website contact link the idiot AI answers.

This held up a couple Rokon and Power Bee orders. I was able to come up with a work around but it is a pain.

I bought this Darex M4 drill bit sharpener about 25 years ago. It has 3 chucks for 1/16" to 1-1/8" diameter drill bits. I was not able to sharpen anything larger than 7/8" because the 3/4" wide wheel was not wide enough. I decided to purchase a 1" wide Cubic Boron wheel since CBN is standard on M5 sharpeners. I can now sharpen up to 1-1/8" drill bits.

I also realized that I had run out of adjustment on the point splitter due to the wheel getting too small. I purchased a new 6" x 3/4" Aluminium Oxide wheel for the point splitter because I want to be able to dress a sharp corner on it for split points. M5s use CBN for the point splitter but you can't dress CBN. Also CBN is a lot more expensive than Al2O3.

20 some years ago I was following Lilbill's web page of him rebuilding a Rokon. He asked EJ Korecky how to hot rod a West Bend 820. One of EJ's suggestions was an infinite radius HL-334 go kart racing carb. It did not have a choke so Bill had to use a primer to start the bike. I found a much larger infinite radius HL-375 and I already had a Homelite chainsaw carb with an accelerator pump. I figured I could install the Homelite pump onto the HL-375 to start the engine by cycling the pump several times before pull starting.

https://manyringding.tripod.com/page4.html

Nope! The Homelite carb had 2 additional precision drilled holes for the pump and the centerline between the bore and pump mounting plate was 5/32" greater.

I bailed and did not find the project again until a few days ago. I stuck the Homelite HL-222 pump carb on a MK4 with a mildly warmed over WB820. The Homelite carb is internally the same as the HL-173A that was on the bike so I did not expect any performance loss.

The first 2 test runs were a bit slow as I was tweaking the HI screw from 1 out to 7/8 out and finally 3/4 out which lit the scooter up like it has been for 2 plus decades.

The accelerator pump provides instant response, but is maybe 3 or 4 thousandths of a second quicker than the non pump HL-173.

Yes! My superpower is starting a project, losing interest and starting 3 more.

I made a panic purchase when I saw the new tariffs threatened.

I can now offer new black Tecumseh 3 dog recoil starters for $20.48.

My supplier sent red ones the last time by accident.

This is a black 3 dog Tecumseh pull starter. This is correct for Rokons and Power Bee engines that spin clockwise on the flywheel side. This requires a new Tecumseh cup part # 35000A in case you are converting from a Fairbanks Morse starter.

Took about 2 minutes to make 5 cuts in 20" Ash with a 1965 WB610 Root chainsaw with the original 7/16" pitch chain. I stop just short of hitting the ground, roll over with Peavey and finish cuts with trimming saw.
