Another BMW M10 in the hone!
Process here is the “fine tuning” getting the last .0005in out of the bore to final bore size. Allowing the finished bore size set to JE Pistons requested (Pistons-to-wall) clearance.
As I said before, this thing is impressing us day by day!
Learning all the little tips/tricks to dial this thing in perfectly!

Some great content from today’s honing session on a Dart SHP small block Chevy.
Drag race build!

Got these bores dialed in nice with the Rottler Manufacturing hone.

Plate honed for a 4.125 bore, and a final plateau finish hone with the CBN stones! Dialed it in nicely with profilometer and we are happy with the result 🤓

This thing is freaking awesome!

As Moran Motorsports said “Let us hone your blocks”

We have no where near the facility that Moran has. But we got that exact hone and best believe we are monitoring the results tailored to each build going in this hone every time.
I’ll be there with the lab coat 🥼 and profilometer, dialing in the results 🤓

Training day #1 is completed! Went over a ton of things and got the stones broken in, in our Cummins test block.

Tomorrow we will start honing a few customer blocks that are lined up!

Had a lot of people asking over this past year what was so special about buying this new hone. This is a great video all around while Steve was being trained on this machine when it was new for him. If you have 30mins, feel free.. And/or skim through and see what this machine is capable of, and what we will be able to provide for you. Along with the profilometer readings at the end, we have had a profilometer for a few years now.

1 of our dreams became reality today! Took delivery on our Rottler Manufacturing H85AX CNC Hone. Here to serve our great customers with an even better finish product coming out of our doors! This machine paired with our T&S Machines and Tools, Inc. Blockmaster will be an amazing combination.

Training on this machine will be in (2) weeks. We will post up closures, and will not allow any interruptions during that time period. Very excited to get this beast up and running.

Thanks to the crew @ Specialty Rigging for getting this to us safely, and in place, cannot recommend these guys enough!

Now to get this thing wired up and ready for training day!

We want to buy a 600-1000lb capacity floor mounted jib crane. Not looking to spend over $3,000 (or way more) from what we gathered. This Vestil (pictured) is a great option, but not currently available for over 40 business days. We need the floor mounted to put right in front our new machine due for delivery in September. I provided a picture of the exact machine we are getting (from another shop who sent it to us), who has the same machine, so you can understand what we are looking for. I will take this ad down if we cannot find one in the next few weeks locally. We will travel for the right price/setup.

Happy Friday Everyone! Sorry for the million posts about this, but we want to keep our potential customers up to date. I know its very hard lately to get in to the shop with us, and we appreciate those who have waited. We are nearing delivery (Potentially 8/4/26) as long as everything goes well for our new CNC Hone.

Training to start the week of 8/10/26.. We will narrow that down and post up the closure dates.

Hopefully, this is our last post on this Rottler Manufacturing hone, and the next post about it will be sitting on our shop floor!

Once the next machine arrives later this year as well, we definitely plan to get into putting a lot of content out there for everyone to enjoy. Its going to take A LOT of time, but we are excited to see where this takes us, and ultimately providing even better results for all of you who stick with us!

Thank you to the current customers, and future customers being so patient with this big transition for us! Thankfully, we have a lot of great help on our side navigating this!
