How I went from being my fathers daughter to CEO:
How Eileen Guarino Made Greno Industries a Success in the 21st century.
I worked under my father for 15 years and learned every part of the machining industry. After his retirement I learned that the changing technology led me to make some difficult decisions.
I have felt the uncertainty as a business person and a CEO of a small company with 40 employees and for the last 20 years I have had to make some difficult decisions about the direction of Greno Industries, and where to invest to get us there.
I learned a lot about the how the company works from my father, which helped in guiding me through what new technology to purchase. While creating a business was his greatest achievement, updating it to compete in the current business environment has been mine.
