At the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, RTM supported the transformation of a long-dormant space in the East Pavilion into the Griffin Studio, a state-of-the-art digital gallery and performance space and the only experience of its kind in North America.

Together with Wight & Company, RTM provided MEP/FP design to bring this highly adaptive, technology-driven environment to life—balancing immersive experience with careful integration of infrastructure and life safety systems.

Reimagined after more than 40 years of vacancy, the space now supports cutting-edge, flexible infrastructure for both current and future immersive exhibits aligned with MSI’s mission to connect science, environment, and visitors.

The launch exhibit, Notes to Neurons, explores how music shapes emotion and human connection through immersive multimedia, audio, and movement-responsive technology.
