Elan is proud to be working with the Town of Plattsburgh to design the Battlefield Memorial Gateway. Plans are underway to transform an underutilized waterfront property into a public destination, which features places of memorial gathering, an amphitheater, plaza, boat launch, and recreation area.

PLATTSBURGH — Battlefield Memorial Gateway will be a gateway to the past.

Play ball! As a member of the CSArch led design team, Elan along with JJA Sports is proud to announce the unveiling of a facilities master plan for a new state-of-the art sports venue at SUNY Adirondack. The project, which features a multi-use synthetic turf field that will accommodate NCAA baseball, soccer and lacrosse, will attract student athletes and provide a great game-day atmosphere for members of the community.

The project will break ground in May with an anticipated Fall 2020 completion date.

“We are excited to assist the City as they prepare the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program,” stated Lisa Nagle, principal with Elan Planning & Design. “This Open House is the opportunity for the residents of Gloversville to come share their ideas for the future that will be used to shape the final plan.”

Elan is excited to announce that we are assisting the City of Gloversville in preparing a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. The city will be holding a public open house meeting on Oct. 23.

Ballston Spa Central School District’s Gordon Creek Elementary School unveiled their new outdoor classroom on September 3rd. ✏️

Elan prepared the site plan for the project that includes a group pavilion with rustic-style seating and tables. Elan is very excited to be involved with the continued movement of educational learning centers that integrate the woodland environment!

Elan, as a sub to MRB Group, was retained to evaluate key clusters of properties in the City of Albany for redevelopment. Led by the Albany County Land Bank Corporation, this innovative approach is a proactive measure to address the revitalization of the City’s neighborhoods.

On June 1st our Elan design team attended New York Bridge Authority’s ribbon cutting for the recently completed Hudson River Skywalk in the Village of Catskill. Elan provided master planning and construction phase services for the Skywalk which links Fredrick Church’s Olana and the Thomas Cole Historic Sites. These are viewed as “America’s First Canvas” with their connection to the founding of the mid-19th century Hudson River School of Painting.

We’re excited to share that Dino Roar Valley at Lake George Expedition Park is open for exploration!
