Made some chips this weekend!

We received some tool holders that weren’t quite right but Trak stepped up and got it sorted out immediately.

A big thank you to the team at TRAK Machine Tools and especially Larry Deptula who drove over 100 miles in Southern California traffic on a Friday afternoon (over 3 hours) to get us up and running. That is some first class customer service!

We are up and running and already have a 30% reduction is cycle time!!! Once refined I think we will see closer to 50%. Looking forward to getting these parts fully dialed in!

Our newest addition. The machine shop equivalent of a Supercar!

Kitamura HX250iG horizontal machining center and a 10 station pallet pool. With a 15,000 RPM spindle, +/-0.002mm (0.000079”) full stroke positional accuracy, a WORLD’S FASTEST maximum feed rate of 60m/min (2,362ipm), and 10 tables worth of work, this thing EATS metal!

This machine is currently running 10 to 12 hours a day UNATTENDED plus an attended shift. We are getting 18 to 22 hours of machining time a day!
