ECA Annual General Membership Meeting 11/18/25 12-2pm at Sallie Tomatoes in Rohnert Park
I wanted to remind all of you what a great lineup of speakers and information is coming your way on 11/18/25 from 12-2pm at our final meeting and event of 2025, our ECA Annual General Membership Meeting:
1. From Napa County, Steve Lederer will give us a rundown of upcoming projects in Napa County. Steve is the Director of Public Works for Napa County, and we are lucky to have him take time to get us informed on their planned projects coming out to bid.
2. From Sonoma County Transportation Authority, James Cameron will be here to give us the news on Highway 37 and other projects funded by SCTA and the Go Sonoma Act. James is the Executive Director of SCTA, and he is coming even with an injured leg!
3. Following James Cameron we have Johannes Hoervetz, Director of Sonoma County Public Infrastructure and he will be joined by Vanessa Garrett and Michelle Ling from his department. Typically, Sonoma County puts out a lot of paving and road work for bidding opportunities each year and we are looking forward to seeing what is coming out soon!
4. Our final speaker will be Dan Hennessey, Director of Public Works and Transportation for the City of Santa Rosa. I know there will be news of many projects coming our way for bid opportunities from Dan’s presentation.
We have arranged a great lineup for you all. We hope our ECA members come out in force to hear what our speakers have to say, which will largely determine how good 2026 might be for many of your firms. I will announce our year end 2025 “State of the ECA” and announce the Award Winners who will be honored at our ECA Installation and Awards Dinner in early 2026. You will also hear about the 2026 Board of Directors and Officers who will guide the organization in 2026. Both of our new staff will be on hand to meet you personally as well Susan Maners will be the ECA Bookkeeper starting January 1, 2026 replacing Cheryl Long who is retiring, and McKenzie Wexler will be the Membership Events Director starting January 1, 2026 relacing Mary Kennedy Cabrera who is also retiring.
Please come out, grab a nice lunch, and make a good attendance showing for these public servants who are speaking!
Thank you.
John Bly
