Last week O&A had a massively successful company volunteer event wherein we wrote 210 letters of support for the Bailey Brigade, more than double our original goal.

The Bailey Brigade https://www.baileybrigade.org/ is a local organization that provides care bags for patients beginning cancer treatment, started in memory of Scott Bailey, a local builder, husband, and father to our own Cole Bailey and his two brothers.

Based on the number of backpacks delivered in 2025, O&A wrote enough letters of support for all backpacks projected to be delivered in 2026. The Bailey Brigade is unbelievably grateful for all the help and support.

O’Connell & Associates had a great time attending the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering Career Fair at Auburn University on February 18, 2026.

Our team was represented by Brent Lowell, P.E., Matthew Spence, Preston Prater (Auburn senior and our 2025 Structural Intern of the Year), and our acting CFO, Todd Adkison, CPA. We met a number of impressive students and had the chance to continue the conversation over dinner with several promising interns and full-time cadidates candidates afterward.
