It's not perfect, but perfection is boring. Lot's of time in this tailgate. Changed hinges, which caused the tailgate to swing out more (which is what I wanted) if you know about the Jeepster tailgates, which ride and rub paint on the factory Jeeps because lack of clearance and very sloppy hinges. So swinging out further eliminated it getting chipped when opening or closing. Then had to create a tailgate support/limiter (didn't want to use a strap or cable, because it would just bind up inside the gap between the tailgate and the quarters, (there's no room) so I created this swing style tailgate limiter, that just folds back up. With that, had to make bearings, basically everything you see in the pics above. Then once again spun up some aluminum k***s to match everything else that was fabricated
