Santa Cruz County Mounted Posse The Santa Cruz County Mounted Posse is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, established in 1948.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Posse is a 501.3c charitable organization and is comprised of Santa Cruz County residents. The members provider their own equipment , animals, uniforms and time for the betterment of our community.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff Posse was incorporated in 1948. The Posse is continually interested in new members with certifiable horses to be used in Search & Rescue operations.

We had a great day with the Jacobs Heart Crew. Face Painting, Hot Dogs, Bounce House, Sheriff's Posse horses gave rides, a Magician & Sweet Pea's Cafe Crepes. Thanks to all who helped make the day a great success! It brought many smiles.
