Dear NeuroTribe,
I am happy to announce that our triumphant return to neurofeedback is almost upon us. As many of you know I grew up in the neurofeedback field and have a fond affinity for the modality. Last year we opened discussion about making a new neurofeedback program that would utilize modern computational neuroscience methods. We have spent years forging an EEG and ERP system that uses the state of the art analysis tools that are precise and extremely informative. We imagined what it would be like to use these tools in a real time neurofeedback system that would move the needle and advance the field of neurofeedback in ways that have not been accomplished.
I am happy to report that we have arrived. Sahin, in all of his brilliance, has designed a system that uses real time Independent Components Analysis (ICA) to "clean" the EEG for precise, accurate and seamless neurofeedback training. This "motor" has the capability to run advanced phase amplitude and multi-variate connectivity training using the Desikan Killiany 3D inverse solution that is more accurate than the antiquated LORETA 19 channel systems that have been used for the past twenty years. Using the NeuroField Suite software AI profiler you can generate "training" sites that the program will use that reflect a personalized treatment plan that is extremely relevant to the person. This patient centered approach is based on sound scientific principals that reflect the state of the art in computational neuroscience.
NeuroField Neurofeedback contains all of your old favorites as well. Since I am circling the sun for my 60th this year I get to play "classics" such as amplitude training, alpha-theta training, infra-low training along with the ability to build your own protocols.
NeuroField Neurofeedback sports some cool feedback as well. You can use the classic transparency screen to place over a DVD movie player, Netflix or whatever media you want to use for visual and/or audio feedback. We have developed some games and meditative feedback that is amazing to experience.
