Plan on about an hour without stops, or a few hours if you pull over at Cascade Springs or Sundance.

Free to drive. Parking at developed stops on the American Fork side requires a recreation pass. (No vehicles over 30 feet.)

UDOT closes it for winter, usually starting in November, and it doesn’t reopen until late spring. Drive it while you can.
