🔥 Real flames. Real training. Real heroes. 🚒✈️

When it comes to emergency response, preparation is everything!

OE Meyer Co. was proud to provide the propane that helped fuel a multi-department Aircraft Rescue Firefighting training exercise at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

This hands-on training gave firefighters the opportunity to sharpen their skills, practice critical response techniques, and prepare for real-life aircraft emergencies.

We were grateful for the opportunity to attend, witness the action firsthand, and support the dedicated first responders who work tirelessly to keep us safe.

We had a blast at EHOVE Future Makers, where young high school students from across the tri-county area came together to explore exciting career opportunities in advanced manufacturing and the skilled trades!

At the OE Meyer Co. booth, future welders brought their A-game! 💪 Students put their skills to the test on the Lincoln Electric VRTEX 360 virtual welding simulator, going head-to-head in some friendly competition for the highest weld score of the day.

🏆 A HUGE congratulations to Aleigha from New London, who claimed the top spot with an impressive score of 90! 👏🎉

The competition was fierce and the talent was impressive!

A big thank you to EHOVE Career Center for hosting such a great event and giving students the opportunity to discover the many possibilities a career in the trades can offer. We're excited to see what these future skilled professionals accomplish!

Throughout her career in Accounts Payable, Nora Zahel has been known for so much more than the work she does. Her warm smile, genuine kindness, and positive attitude have made a lasting impression on coworkers and everyone who has walked through our doors.

When asked what advice she would give a new employee, Nora shared words that perfectly reflect who she is:

“Always stay positive and always smile and be kind. You never know what someone else is going through. You could be the brightest part of their day!”

Nora, thank you for 12+ years of dedication, kindness, and for being a bright spot at OE Meyer Co. We hope retirement brings you plenty of time with your family and lots of special moments with your new grandson! ❤️

Congratulations, Nora! You will be greatly missed, and we wish you all the best in your next chapter! 🎉

❤️ A fresh new look in Sandusky!

You may notice something a little different the next time you visit our Sandusky branch. We traded in the blue for a bold new red exterior!

The building may look different, but inside you’ll find the same employee-owned team and the same commitment to providing dependable, local service.

What do you think of the new look? 👀

OH...IO! 📣🏈

Cooler weather means college football and around here, that’s a pretty big deal!

As the temperatures start to drop across Ohio, the need for reliable propane starts to rise. From keeping homes warm and businesses running to supporting agriculture, industry, and even research, propane works behind the scenes in more places than you might realize.

We spotted a little team spirit on this OE Meyer Co propane tank at The Ohio State University’s research facility on Put-in-Bay and we’d say it’s ready for football season. ❤️🩶🏈

Whether you’re cheering for the Buckeyes or another team this fall, we want to hear it:
Who’s your college football team? Drop them in the comments! 👇

Here’s to cooler weather, Saturday football, and another season of keeping our communities fueled.
