We had the opportunity to work on this aluminum boat. Owner had some damage to the transom and we rebuilt the whole thing. Lund uses 1/16” sheet metal for the transom. We used 2 plates of 3/16”marine grade aluminum. Transom is now at least 3x stronger than before.
