Best way to learn a lesson is when it hurts your wallet! Do you agree?!

I’m so grateful for honest people!

Andrew received a rocket stove and grill top that he didn’t order. He didn’t have to reach out and figure out a way to get this back to us, it could have been his free of charge! But it’s on its way back. And we are going to hook Andrew up with some parts that he needed for a project as a thank you.

I learned a valuable lesson though. Double, triple check the shipping label!!!

There isn’t many builders out there that actual try and lift up other builders. We’re technically in “competition” with each other. But Chuck does exactly that. He knows there is plenty to go around and that it’s a joint effort to get bad ass smokers in every backyard! He’s helped feed my family more than once and I’m forever grateful! So give him a follow, buy an Iron Oak!

I owe you an apology for calling you a grandson in my previous post. Let me make it up to you by sharing what I truly believe about granddaughters and everything they’re capable of.

Granddaughters bring a unique kind of joy into the world. They have a deep emotional connection to life, a caring spirit, and an energy that lifts the people around them. Their presence alone can bring comfort, happiness, and light into any room.

When a grandfather is feeling down, it can all be washed away with a simple hug from his granddaughter. That’s a kind of superpower you have—never underestimate it.

And it doesn’t stop there. Your presence, your kindness, and your heart have the ability to change the outcome of a moment, a day, or even someone’s life. Keep being exactly who you are, because that is more than enough—it’s something truly special.

I’ve been following this company since the very early days. Jason and Miranda at Chiasson Smoke have such pure hearts and a level of grit that is so inspiring.

I came across a husband and wife team out of Massachusetts, and I just wanted to give them a shout out. They are doing really clean, solid work, and you can tell they care about what they build.

The reason I am sharing this is because he left me a comment that made me stop and think. It meant a lot.

There are a lot of great builders out there. In this line of work, people get to choose who they want to build their smoker.

Most people will want one really good offset smoker at some point. Something that will last a long time.

When that time comes, it is not just about the product. It is about the people behind it.

When you find good people who care and stand behind their work, that matters.

There is room for all of us.
