This weekend was nothing short of amazing, first real good spring push of steelhead finally showed with lots of swinging of the net and high fives to show for it. Here's just a very small example of the sore lip sessions that commenced over the last three days 🔥 looking to be another incredible spring run again and it's only getting started and gets better from here. I appreciate the amount of interest and messages on my post regarding the open morning seat for Friday March 27th. I have this Sunday March 1st and next Friday and Sunday (6th 8th) available for steelhead on the Muskegon river. Had this Saturday August 16th open up for a morning salmon jigging trip. The only other trip spots available for jigging yet this year are August 22, 23 for the afternoon trip. If jigging salmon sounds like something you want to try, I highly recommend trying it. Jigging is by far my favorite way of catching salmon. Good dates like these don't open up very often either. Fishing lately has been great and this week with the rain we just had has brought a lot of our West Michigan river levels up and that means more fish as well! Consistently boating decent numbers of steelhead every trip and a ton of healthy rainbow trout with a few real good browns mixed in.
