This week, our team at KLP would like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate Native American communities, cultures, and traditions across the country!
As a proud Native American-owned business founded by citizens of the Chickasaw Nation, this recognition is especially meaningful to our team. Our family's connection to Chickasaw history includes Thomas Parker, the great-great-great-grandfather of our founders, who served as Governor of the Chickasaw Nation and lived to the remarkable age of 115.
His story is one part of a much larger history of Native American leadership, resilience, and cultural heritage. We believe it's important to recognize not only the generations who came before us, but also the Native American communities who continue to preserve their traditions, strengthen their communities, and make meaningful contributions today.
From our KLP family to yours, we are proud to honor Native American heritage and celebrate the communities whose histories and contributions deserve to be recognized today and every day.
