As a JV partner with Moffatt & Nichol, AGS provided project management and engineering design services for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission South Ocean Beach Coastal Erosion and Water Infrastructure Protection project.

The project included design and construction of a long-term engineered solution that combines coastal management measures with structural protection of the Lake Merced Tunnel (LMT) to address erosion hazards at the South Ocean Beach area.

Meet Mary, our newest Geologist! Her passion for geology runs deep, from childhood fossil collections to studying paleomagnetism at UNH. She’s dedicated to geotechnical work that impacts lives. When she's not working, Mary enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach, and playing the violin.

AGS's PM/CM team gathered over lunch at SFO to celebrate our success on several ongoing airport projects, including the West Field Cargo Redevelopment Facility, International Terminal Building Phase 2 Renovation, and the Boarding Area Gate G Enhancements project.

As one of the 30 busiest airports in the world, SFO continues to expand and improve. AGS is proud to contribute to SFO's success by supporting these extensive enhancements to better serve airlines and passengers.

In 2020, the City of Pittsburg undertook renovations of the historic 100-year-old Pittsburg California Theatre. AGS was commissioned to provide construction management services throughout the construction phase of the project.

The renovation scope of work encompassed the following: balcony seating for 150, installation of a handicap lift to the balcony, lighting improvements, sound attenuation improvements, new flooring, railings, wall and trim finishes, painting, structural modifications for accessibility, and electrical work.

Mayor Jelani Killings said during a City Council meeting that he hoped the funds “would inspire the next generation of Pittsburg students” to pursue education in the arts.

The AGS team had a wonderful time at the opening of the India Basin Waterfront Park on October 19th.

We caught a glimpse of Mayor London N. Breed joining the celebration of the newly opened 10-acre park, which will deliver miles of winding trails, waterfront recreation, shore access, and resiliency to sea level rise.

AGS was responsible for a geotechnical engineering study for two phases of redevelopment, including 2.4 acres of new park construction and 7.9 acres of Shoreline Park.
