Hardy Process Solutions announces the release of the HI6850-SPWC Setpoint Weight Controller, a highly configurable, integrated solution designed to optimize precision in tank and vessel applications.

Engineered for demanding industrial manufacturing environments, the HI 6850-SPWC delivers fast, stable, and accurate weight control with advanced features that streamline operations, reduce downtime and enhance productivity. With its built-in Setpoint Control application, the controller automates filling and dispensing processes in both Loss-in-Weight and Gain-in-Weight modes.

While in Loss-In-Weight mode, the setpoint controller will open relays (unlatch) when the weight reaches or falls below the setpoint threshold; while in Gain-In-Weight mode, the setpoint controller will close relays (latch) when the weight reaches or goes above the setpoint threshold. Coupled with a required 8-channel relay card, the controller can automatically control fillers, switches or valves that adjust tank or vessel setpoints on up to 4 channels.

Certified for use in both Ordinary and Hazardous Locations (Class I/ DIV 2), the Hardy HI6800 series of weight controllers are now available a pre-assembled stainless-steel enclosure.
The Panel Mount Wall System can be configured with or without summing card installed inside the enclosure; when configured with a summing card, it eliminates the need for a separate junction box.

The ME FacePlate for the HI6800 is for downloading into a touch screen, typically the Rockwell Automation PanelView 700 series. It is designed to "mimic" the look and feel of the HI6800 for ease of calibration with zero, tare and status monitoring.

HIDS Drum Scales are built to perform and last in heavy industrial environments yet are easy to use and install with the latest advancements in weighing technology. Hardy Drum Scales are available in painted steel with alkyd enamel paint with a tread deck or smooth deck in two sizes--30 x 30 inches and 36 x 36 inches. Each size comes in 500, 1,500 and 3,000 pound capacities. They feature access holes in the decks for load cell servicing and cleaning. With a deck height of just 1.5”, they are easy to load and unload with an optional 12” ramp. Purpose-built accessories such as indicator columns, ramps and Hardy swivel mount weighing instruments, greatly extend the ease of use and application compatibility for a wide range of applications.
