Our expert team at Yacht Deck recently completed the installation of a new 3/4" teak deck on the 125' m/y Kestrel (ex Butterfly) at Marine Group Boatworks in Chula Vista, California. Fabrication took about 6 weeks at our work shop in San Diego and we'd planned another 5 weeks for the installation, but with all the other works (paint, window caulking, etc) happening on board, the install took 6 weeks, but the end result is gorgeous and both the yacht's Captain and shipyard are very happy with the work. Even though it's getting late in the year, on warm days we can still install Marine Mat EVA foam decking. This week, we removed a client's worn out Plasdeck deck and it's adhesive and installed a gorgeous new Marine Mat deck, utilizing titanium over slate grey. As you can see, it turned out great! The window to do full vinyl hull wraps is about closed for the year as its getting too cold and the vinyl will "shatter" during repositioning, but we managed to sneak one last small one in during the heat wave last week. The client selected Gloss Light Ivory for his Aquasport 23' and it turned out great.

We recently received a rush order for a teak deck from Cruisers Yachts for their new model 50F that they were intending on having at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). Recognizing we only had a few weeks to not only fabricate it, but ship it to Florida and then get it installed, we immediately jumped into action. Less than 3 weeks later, the decks are completely installed, look great and the new 50F is even more gorgeous than she was a week ago without teak and is going to be amazing at FLIBS!

Our installer in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico recently installed a beautiful Marine Mat deck on a Searay400 SLX. We removed the old failed Seadek, cleaned up all the left over adhesive (which from Seadek is always extensive) and installed the new Marine Mat floor. Client is over the moon with the outstanding result.

Looking through some old photo and found this dramatic before and after shots of an interior we did on a custom 43' sportsfisher. The owner's hated the existing carpet and asked us to swap it out with something that would be incredibly durable but also look great. We selected Lonseal's "teak and ivory" and the results speak for themselves.

A client recently requested us to replace the worn out teak on his 2002 Beneteau First 47.7 as it had passed it's life cycle. We removed the old teak, prepped the deck areas and installed Permateek New Classic with black seams. Turned out great and the owner is very happy to have his "girl look new again".

They undertook a project for a repeat client and transformed this already good,but standard Italian 62' Explorer Yacht and customized her into the sexiest big black beast to prowl the SoCal waters! Wow, what a difference!!! We were recently tasked with making a client's Apreamare 12 look beautiful again. It was no small feat as the existing teak decks were shot, so instead of futilely attempting to save them, we instead fabricated entirely new ones using Flexiteek "teak". This very light grey colored 55' catamaran needed a little TLC as her hull had some repairs done over the years, but as everyone knows, a gelcoat repair will look great initially, but over time, the color of the repair will no longer match the original gelcoat color so the yacht will have patches. Enter the team from our sister company, Imagine Wrapix. It was a lot of work, but their team was up to the task wrapping the hull in 3M Gloss Storm Grey with a Avery Dennison Gloss Indigo Blue bootstripe. The work turned out amazing and the client is very happy!
