This study from Losacco et al., demonstrates the improved efficiency of supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), which was used to screen and purify enantiomers in less than 1 hour. The study utilizes PIC Solution technology for efficient, multicolumn SFC screening of chiral molecules. This study used 10 chiral columns in parallel, as well as tested a variety of organic modifiers simultaneously. This allowed researchers to quickly identify optimal conditions for the separation of these enantiomers, and ultimately enabled faster purification of the desired compounds.
