Herman Soto | Fire Protection Designer: Herman joins us with a strong practical background in the installation of fire protection systems, bringing a unique "field-first" perspective to his designs.

Jacob Longo, PE | Electrical Project Designer: With five years in the electrical field, Jacob’s dual experience in both contracting and engineering makes him a versatile asset to our electrical team.

Neil Patel | Mechanical Project Designer: Neil brings over two years of MEP industry experience and is currently working toward his PE license, strengthening our mechanical design capabilities.

The DWE team helped spread holiday cheer at the 2025 Winter Wonderland event hosted by the Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Empire. Together with community partners, more than 300 current and former resident families enjoyed a festive day of fun!

The competition was fierce and the laughter nonstop as the Silent Assassins faced off against the Boom Squad in Design West’s first annual softball game!

With 20+ players, cheering friends and family, and a post-game BBQ, the day was full of friendly trash talk and memories. After extra innings, the Assassins clinched a 22–17 win.

Shout-out to Justin Wells, DWE Designer, for organizing, and to our team for bringing the fun on and off the field.

Please join us in welcoming Ron and Robert to the DWE team!

Ron joined us as an Electrical Project Manager, bringing with him an impressive 48 years of experience as an electrician. His background spans healthcare, data centers, and emergency power systems, and he holds Journeyman Electrician certifications in both Washington and California. We're excited to have his deep field expertise guiding our projects!

Robert joins us after several years as an Ops Design Engineer at Amazon. With a strong foundation in electrical and technology design, he's also known for his skills in Autodesk support, training, and Electrical BIM coordination. A true CAD and Revit champion, Robert attends Autodesk University annually to stay on the cutting edge of design technology.
