BEFORE & AFTER
MAC115B-0-GS-4-C/130-A-1/WI524LV/S001
This MAC115B unit arrived able to initialize and run on our test bench; however, it was producing noticeable bearing noise and the encoder was not counting at all. While the motor was operational, the rough operation indicated internal bearing wear that could lead to failure if left unaddressed.
After a full internal inspection, we confirmed there were no major mechanical or electrical issues present. The primary concerns identified were worn bearings and a failed encoder.
The motor was fully serviced replacing bearings, seal, and spring washer. Faceplate bearing race was out of tolerance, so was re-sleeved. Encoder was also replaced. Once repairs were completed, the unit was reassembled and thoroughly tested on our bench to ensure smooth, quiet operation and reliable performance.
Proactive repairs like this help prevent unexpected downtime and extend the life of critical equipment.
If you’re hearing unusual noise or seeing inconsistent feedback, it’s time to have your motor evaluated!
